The company's founders realised that many people feel tied to their dialup or broadband supplier and often have hard to remember email addresses.
There are other companies that offer email addresses, but not that offer you a full choice of email address, and not that offer send as well as receive (most are receive only, expecting you to send using another account).
In 2008 Emailname became part of SGR Engineering Ltd, and continues to provide high quality email packages, now with the added advantage of easy conversion to full website hosting and web development services.
